The construction of TBC’s new building ended on July 3. As a token of thanksgiving to the workers and Manong Fred, the foreman, some TBC women prepared a simple merienda for them. They brought pansit, Bonete bread, Sponge and French cake and pineapple and iced tea. The merienda table was set in the new building. Before eating, Brother Raymar prayed and thanked the laborers in behalf of TBC.

A Bible Study Center in Red V, Magdalena

0

Inay Rosing Lasco has inherited her  ancestral home  in Red V,  Baranggay Bungkol, Magdalena, Laguna. When it was given to her, the house was in sorry state. But  she loves the house so much that she spent time and money – not to mention muscle pains and fatique –  to have it repaired and painted. She and her husband, Tatay Delio, who is also a church member, travel there once a week to oversee the work.  Now that all repairs are done, the couple’s desire is for the house  to be a Bible Study Center. And their wish was granted. Brother Raymar started a Bible Study there last Saturday (June 21). Though mostly  children are attending,  the place is very promising…

Last April 13, Trinity Bible Church gave honor to the elderly members of the church and visitors through a mini-program that was held immediately after the morning worship. The children presented a poem and a song number. Pastor Allan gave a brief message  that challenged them that age does not matter in serving the Lord. To remind them that Christian life is like a plant that has to be nurtured, they were given a nice plant in a decorative pot. Present during the program were, Nanay Lucy, Nanay Ludy, Nanay Lumen, Nanay Delma ,  Tatay Fred ( foreman in church building construction) and a couple who attend the bible study of Pastor Ferdie in…

baptism of Shiela

Pastor Rodel baptized  Andro and Shiela  last April 6  in the baptistry of the Community of Faith Church (CFC)  in Aguinaldo St., City Subdivision, San Pablo City.  For several years now, CFC have been very gracious in lending their baptistry to TBC. The members sang the song “Rock of Ages” ,  followed by a short message of Pastor Rodel about the significance of the ordinance of baptism.

It was a cause of great joy for TBC members.  Welcome Andro and Shiela to your TBC family!

Its been almost a year that Pastor Rodel has not preached in SGBC.   And so today, March 23,  it was a pleasant surprise for him and his wife Haydee to see the new church building which is just enough to accommodate the more or less 200 attendees.  Pastor Rodel  handled the Sunday School class, where he discussed a powerpoint presentation about climate change. It was a very informative topic. Members and visitors were encouraged to take active part in protecting the environment by not being wasteful and to segregate, compost and recycle garbage.  For the worship service, the congregation was challenged to…

TBC Bids Goodbye to Gab

TBC is happy that Gab will be joining  his wife Czarina in New Zealand, after three months of separation. Yet  every time a member leaves, it is always leaves a tinge of sadness. Carlo Bustamante, who is fondly called by  friends and church members as Gab has been a member of TBC for barely  few months, yet  just like Czarina, he  has been a blessing to the church.  His love for the Lord and his desire to know more of Him are evident in his life. He  likes to read spiritual books and even shares eBooks through the church’ website.

As a way of committing Gab to the…

TBC Ladies Discussed Christian Modesty

0

For the month of July, TBC Women ( singles and married)  met together after the corporate prayer meeting (3:00 to 4:00 pm) and talked about a very timely topic on Christian Modesty. Sister BimBim Espinosa of GBC gave an issue of Free Grace Broadcaster on Modest Apparel (Issue 216)  to Sister Haydee and this became the basis of  their discussion, together with the sermon of Pastor Albert Martin on Christian Modesty. The “mini-seminar” was a rebuke  and a reminder that TBC women should exhibit modesty in  dressing  because it mirrors the condition of the heart. May the Lord spare us from becoming an offence to men and be examples of how Christian women should dress.

The Lord is continually blessing the fellowship gathering of Filipino and foreign students every Friday  from 6:30  to 8:00 at Searca Hostel, UPLB. Peter, an American has been regularly attending. He is not a graduate student but resides in Searca. The average attendance is 12 which includes our Filipino friends.

We are amazed at the working of God in the life of Bryan. He is blind but manages to study like normal student. He has a “talking computer”, which allows him to study and…
