It was a pleasant surprise for TBC members to see Pastor Andy Ingente (one of the elders of Kalibo Reformed Baptist Church), his wife and children in church worship services last Sunday, April 20. They attended a family reunion in Cainta and took advantage of the trip to visit sisters Janet, Bet Bet, Carol and TBC as well. The members and elders enjoyed a heartwarming fellowship with them, and also got some good news about God’s work in the church in Kalibo. They too are building their own meeting place, after it was destroyed by typhoon Yolanda . God faithfully provides for them just like in TBC. The visit of…

TBC rejoices with the acceptance of Jonathan Sta Rita for church membership last Sunday, April 13, after a congregational interview. Jonathan, gifted with eloquence and a host of other talents, smoothly sailed along the many questions asked by the members. Jonathan was a former youth pastor of Triumphant Church in San Pablo City. He said he first felt a spiritual awakening when he was seven years old. He grew up in the teachings of a Pentecostal church where his parents are actively involve. When the Lord revealed to him the doctrines of grace, he struggled so much since he could not reconcile what is being practiced in the…

Pastor Rodel baptized Andro and Shiela last April 6 in the baptistry of the Community of Faith Church (CFC) in Aguinaldo St., City Subdivision, San Pablo City. For several years now, CFC have been very gracious in lending their baptistry to TBC. The members sang the song “Rock of Ages” , followed by a short message of Pastor Rodel about the significance of the ordinance of baptism.
It was a cause of great joy for TBC members. Welcome Andro and Shiela to your TBC family!

Last Friday, April 11, TBC women (all 16 of them) came up with their own version of Women’s Day, when they decided to meet together for a whole day of fellowship and learning at the residence of Pastor Rodel and sister Haydee. Present during the fellowship were Gie, Janet with Japheth, Aileen with Eli, Nel, Nina, Mare, Mylene and Rhua, Mylene and Rose (who took respective leave from their offices), Carol, Mel, Janet, Lani and Ruby. They came in a rented jeepney to make their travel comfortable. Later, Angie and Irene came to join the group. After brunch, each sister was given time to share her…

The life of a Christian has always been challenged rigorously nowhere else other than in the area of work. Almost every day is a battle between Christian commitment and compromise, from minor to major matters, and from there on, different circumstances may arise wherein a believer’s integrity will be challenged by the world.
This year, Rebap Singles Camp 2014 aims to deal with these issues and give us encouragement to help us keep our testimonies unblemished before a world of spectators, so that we may glorify our Lord in the midst of a sin-tainted generation.
Visit our camp website and register now and be part of the said event!

Every last Saturday of the month, TBC members gather for a morning of prayer. For those who can stay (and that’s for many of us) the activity is capped with lunch fellowship that often extends to an afternoon of more fellowship, meetings and preparation for other ministries. We may be a little tired afterwards, but the time spent pleading with the Lord and communing with Him in prayer together with other brethren is well worth the effort. It definitely puts us in a worshipful mode for the coming Sabbath.
Help us Lord to be mindful of your presence whenever we meet for prayer and strengthen us that our sacrifice of praise may be acceptable to you.

Praise be to God! After months of praying for funds and design, the construction of TBC’s new church building finally began last Tuesday, April 2.
Deacon Jojo oversees the work together with Brother Raymar . Brother Archie also helps in processing the building permit
and Brother Manolo also shares the work in the site. Deacon Jojo employed his trusted foreman, Mang Pedro, while most of the workers are children of Nanay Emilia,
who formerly attended Bible study with Brother Raymar in Sta Monica.
On that momentous day for TBC, sisters Nina, Nel, Janet (wife of brod Raymar), Lani and Haydee gathered together to thank the Lord for this great blessing and prayed…

TBC brethren came in full force and much earlier than the 8 am schedule to distribute Gospel tracts to residents of Angeles Heights and Sta. Monica on March 22, Saturday. A week before, brethren from a Manila-based reformed church had asked TBC to help them distribute tracts as part of their medical mission in San Nicolas. Praise God, we were able to provide around 300 tracts. May God bless our feeble efforts to draw more people unto Him!

Its been almost a year that Pastor Rodel has not preached in SGBC. And so today, March 23, it was a pleasant surprise for him and his wife Haydee to see the new church building which is just enough to accommodate the more or less 200 attendees. Pastor Rodel handled the Sunday School class, where he discussed a powerpoint presentation about climate change. It was a very informative topic. Members and visitors were encouraged to take active part in protecting the environment by not being wasteful and to segregate, compost and recycle garbage. For the worship service, the congregation was challenged to…

Pastor Rodel was the guest in the 11th Anniversary Celebration of Sta Cruz Baptist Church in Sto Tomas, Batanggas, held today, March 22. The theme of their anniversary celebration is in Romans 11:36 “For Him and through Him, and to HIm are all things. To HIm be glory forever”. Pastor Rodel expounded on the three prepositions For Him, through Him and to Him. His message encouraged the church to continue to trust and live their lives for Christ who is the Sustainer of all things.
Sta Cruz Baptist Church has a vibrant ministry for children. For…
