If I Were A Young Mother Again
01. If I were a young mother again, I will enjoy each day of motherhood because now I know that time is short and babies grow so fast.
2. If I were a young mother again, I will be thankful to the Lord for making me an instrument of shaping the character of a human being. The way I take care of my children has great impact in their lives later on.
3. If I were a young mother again, I will not be too concern about the cleanliness of the house, more than the quality time I spend with my children. The house will remain a house, but making happy memories are fleeting and hard to come by.
4. If I were a young mother again, I will teach my children, the value of working well at home, how to keep their things in order, how to cook ,and wash, and iron clothes. It will make my life and their lives easier later on.
5. If I were a young mother again, I will enjoy each stage of the growing child. I will not think that if she is already crawling, or if she is already eating solid food, or if she is already going to school things would be easier, because it will not be.
6. If I were a young mother again, I will not grumble or complain for each day is God-given for the shaping of my character.
7. If I were a young mother again, I will not neglect the reading of good books. A spic-and-span house is nice to look at, but it does not enrich the mind.
8. If I were a young mother again, I will be careful with my speech and my actions knowing that what I do and say, my children will imitate … and my sins and weaknesses are passed unto them.
9. If I were a young mother again, I will instill the value of godliness, discipline, respect, and obedience for now I know that these are the best virtues they can learn, more than gaining talents and intelligence.
10. If I were a young mother again, I will embrace motherhood with joy and pride because I am called to a higher office of raising up a child.
