“My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.” Psalm 145:21

If we are expressive about our praises to God, people around us will be encouraged to bless His name. They may be strangers to grace, but through our lives, they may acknowledge the goodness of God and bless His holy name as well. 

Our goal is to make unbelievers praise the name of the Lord. And this will only happen if they see the manifestation of God’s graces in us like if we exhibit the fruits of the Holy Spirit in the our daily conduct.  

For instance, people draw to us when we are kind to them. If we seek others’ interests, if we are generous and ready to help, they will attribute that to the God whom we worship.

As we face trials yet firm in our faith, we are likely to point people to God. They will see that He is the source of our strength. 

God’s greatness is unsearchable, and we ought to praise Him greatly. And so this is our challenge: To make unbelievers praise the name of the Lord. May the Lord grant us the grace to do so.

Prayer 

Lord help us that through our lives, we can encourage the unbelievers to praise Your name too. That is a lofty goal, but with your grace, we know that nothing is impossible. In Jesus Name. Amen
